The words mental health are often considered taboo and have typically only been spoken in times of turmoil and distress. Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) and others who work in the field are working hard to change the image of mental health. We continue to stress the importance of proper mental health care, as it is equally important as proper physical care for the body. Many people have concerns about their mental health, but are unsure of how to get help.
